[Random Tactz – Jay]

Ricky was inspired by his next-door neighbor, who began to teach him how to break. After two years of just only breaking, Ricky decided to try choreography. Joining Channel Islands High School Dance Teams, he expanded his knowledge not only in breaking, but also in acting, Jazz, Salsa and Hip-Hop. After graduating high school, Ricky spent seven years coaching and choreographing for Valencia High School, who went onto winning numerous competitions including the High School Nationals. Ricky danced and choreographed for Cal State Long Beach Pac Modern, which won and placed at many competitions. He also danced for Channel Island, Non-Stop, Sick Step, Chill Factor and Boogiezones Breed. He currently dances For Soul Fresh Crew, Kinjaz, and Mos Wanted Crew. Ricky has choreographed for the movie, “Saigon Electric,” (filmed in Vietnam), and worked on NBC’s “All that Skate LA 2010,” where he got to combine all his loves in life – dancing and acting alongside some well respected b-boys in the industry. As a member of Mos Wanted Crew, Ricky and his team have made it to the final three at this year’s MTV “America’s Best Dance Crew” competition. Recently, Ricky can be seen in the Reebok/Swizz Beatz Commercial and music video. He has also founded Soul Fresh Clothing thru which he mentors his own youth dance team.
